Loan Officer

Night Shift (Work From Office) :- 9:00 pm to 6:00 am
They are responsible for assessing loan applications, evaluating borrowers’ creditworthiness, and managing the loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Application Processing:
– Collect and verify necessary documentation from borrowers, such as income statements, proof of address, and credit reports.
– Analyze financial data and assess the borrower’s creditworthiness.
– Prepare loan proposals for credit committees or managers to review.
Loan Disbursement:
– Ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained before disbursing loans.
– Coordinate with other departments, such as legal and operations, to complete the loan disbursement process.
Loan Portfolio Management:
– Monitor the performance of existing loans, including repayment schedules and interest rates.
– Identify and address potential risks associated with the loan portfolio.
– Collect overdue payments and take necessary recovery actions.
Compliance Adherence:
– Ensure that all loan activities comply with applicable banking regulations and guidelines.
– Stay updated on changes in banking laws and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
– Strong understanding of loan products and lending processes.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Negotiation and persuasion skills.
– Good knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
– Proficiency in using computer applications, including loan processing software.
Customer Acquisition:
– Actively seek out potential borrowers through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and referrals.
– Educate customers about different loan products and their terms and conditions.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term loyalty.
