Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Associate to expand our customer base in Delhi NCR. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, meeting prospective customers, generating enquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating with the internal sales team, and converting leads into repeat business.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with field sales, B2B relationship building, tender opportunities, and selling technical or customized products.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers in Delhi NCR, including corporates, schools, colleges, hospitals, government departments, event companies, security solution providers, and system integrators.
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, networking, referrals, exhibitions, and online platforms.
- Understand customer requirements for RFID cards, PVC cards, access-control cards, ID cards, lanyards, printing, and customized identification solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and explain Sensedge Technologies’ capabilities, quality standards, customization options, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations in coordination with the inside sales and operations teams.
- Build relationships with procurement managers, administration heads, HR teams, IT teams, security departments, and channel partners.
- Track enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, order status, and competitor activity through daily reporting.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and support the development of repeat and referral business.
- Identify government, institutional, and corporate tender opportunities relevant to RFID and identification solutions.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company professionally during client meetings, trade events, and exhibitions.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, field sales, or institutional sales.
- Experience in RFID, PVC cards, smart cards, printing, access control, security systems, IT hardware, office automation, or similar products will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with regular client visits and travel within Delhi NCR.
- Ability to independently generate leads and manage the complete sales cycle.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, CRM systems, email communication, and quotation preparation.
- A two-wheeler and valid driving licence will be preferred.
