Role Overview
Transparent Overseas is looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser to manage international buyers, drive business growth, and oversee the complete order execution process. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Home Décor, Hardgoods, or Glass Export Industry with excellent communication, negotiation, and buyer management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end merchandising activities from inquiry to shipment.
- Manage communication with international buyers and ensure excellent client relationships.
- Develop new business opportunities and convert inquiries into orders.
- Prepare quotations, costing, product presentations, and buyer proposals.
- Coordinate with design, sourcing, production, QC, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.
- Monitor order timelines, sampling, production, and shipment schedules.
- Attend buyer meetings, exhibitions, and client visits.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with buyers.
- Mentor junior merchandisers and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements
- Graduate/MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Merchandiser in the Home Décor, Glass, Handicrafts, or Hardgoods export industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of merchandising, costing, product development, and order management.
- Good command of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel for buyer meetings and business development activities.
