Job Description
A reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Ankleshwar is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Account Manager to lead and oversee the hospital's finance and accounting functions.
The ideal candidate should have 8–15 years of relevant experience and a strong background in financial management, accounting, budgeting, compliance and reporting. Candidates qualified as CA, CMA or M.Com are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall accounting and financial operations of the hospital.
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, billing and collections.
- Manage cash flow, bank transactions and regular reconciliations.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and manage internal and statutory audit processes.
- Review financial controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
- Monitor hospital revenue, expenses and financial performance.
- Provide financial insights and reports to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and documentation.
- Lead and guide the accounts and finance team.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, vendors and other external stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- CA / CMA / M.Com qualification from a recognised institution.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation and audit processes.
- Strong MS Excel and accounting/ERP software skills.
- Excellent analytical and financial management skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare organisation will be highly preferred.
