Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing high-quality mobile applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android tools and practices.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless, efficient, and scalable Android applications that deliver excellent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
- Develop UI components using Jetpack Compose for an interactive and dynamic user experience.
- Implement and optimize asynchronous programming using Coroutines and RXJava. Integrate 3rd party libraries and APIs to enhance application features and functionality.
- Adhere to clean code architecture principles, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and testability of code.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define and implement app features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Proficiency in Coroutines and RXJava for managing background tasks.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles and design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVI.
- Familiarity with integrating and working with 3rd party libraries like Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, Glide, etc.
- Experience in using Android Jetpack components (e.g., Navigation, LiveData, ViewModel).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and offline storage mechanisms.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android development.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.
- Familiarity with Play Store submission and app lifecycle management.
