Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Security Officer (CSO) / Security Officer to lead and strengthen our organization's security operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing security manpower as well as hands-on technical knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, company assets, and premises through effective security management and surveillance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and strengthen the organization's security manpower.
- Plan and manage security deployment, shift scheduling, and performance of security personnel.
- Monitor, manage, and maintain the CCTV surveillance system across the facility.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, recording systems, networking, and surveillance equipment, and coordinate with vendors for major repairs.
- Ensure uninterrupted CCTV recording, storage, and retrieval of surveillance footage.
- Conduct regular security inspections, patrols, and risk assessments.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Implement and enforce company security policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain visitor management, gate control, and vehicle movement records.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external security agencies, and law enforcement authorities when required.
- Train and guide security personnel on security protocols, emergency response, and surveillance best practices.
- Handle emergency situations such as theft, fire, accidents, and unauthorized access.
- Prepare periodic security reports and recommend improvements to strengthen site security.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing security.
- Proven experience in managing security teams and CCTV surveillance operations.
- Hands-on technical knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, access control systems, and basic networking.
- Strong leadership, communication, and incident-handling skills.
- Ability to analyze CCTV footage and respond promptly to security incidents.
