Job Description – Packers & Movers Staff Company: Smart Move Packers and Movers Location: Chennai & surrounding areas Positions Available - Packers - Loaders / Unloaders - Movers / Helpers - Driver - Telecaller / Customer Support Job Responsibilities Packers - Pack household and office items safely and securely. - Handle fragile items such as glassware, electronics and furniture carefully. - Use packing materials properly. - Label and organize packed items. - Assist the team during loading and unloading. Loaders / Helpers - Load and unload household and office goods safely. - Handle furniture, appliances, cartons and other items carefully. - Assist with shifting and transportation work. - Follow safety instructions and work as part of a team. - Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of customer belongings. Driver - Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly. - Pick up and deliver customer belongings on time. - Assist the moving team when required. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic checks. - Follow traffic rules and company procedures. Telecaller / Customer Support - Attend customer enquiries through phone and WhatsApp. - Explain packing and moving services to customers. - Collect customer details and moving requirements. - Follow up with enquiries and generate bookings. - Maintain customer information and coordinate with the operations team. Requirements - Hardworking and responsible. - Good communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to handle physical work for packing/loading positions. - Previous experience in packers and movers is preferred but freshers can also apply. - For Driver position, a valid driving licence is required. - Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby areas.
