A staff nurse (Registered Nurse) provides direct clinical care, administers medications, monitors vital signs, and assists physicians. - Direct Patient Care: Perform physical examinations, record medical histories, and execute bedside duties including bathing, feeding, and positioning bedridden patients. [1, 2]

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing).
- Licensing: Active registration with the relevant state or national nursing council (e.g., Indian Nursing Council or state-specific nursing boards).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are frequently required.
