We are looking for a dedicated AutoCAD Designer cum Site Supervisor (Civil) to join our Roofing company SS industries & Marketing Olavakkode,Palakkad. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate AutoCAD drawings, creating 3D models in SketchUp, conducting site measurements, supervising roofing installation works, and coordinating with clients, project engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and presentations using SketchUp.
- Prepare roof layouts, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
- Visit project sites for measurements and site inspections.
- Supervise roofing installation and ensure work is executed as per drawings.
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, and installation teams.
- Monitor work quality, safety, and project progress.
- Resolve site-related issues and provide technical support.
- Maintain daily site progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients and update project status.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SketchUp.
- Good understanding of construction and roofing drawings.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site activities independently.
- Experience in Roofing, PEB, Steel Structure, or Construction projects is preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical skills and a willingness to supervise site work may also apply.
