The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a friendly and professional shopping experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Process sales transactions accurately through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is neatly arranged.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Store Manager of replenishment requirements.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stock.
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Support promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and marketing activities.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of current products, pricing, and promotions.
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass), Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
