Full Job Description
We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for architectural design, drafting, and project execution. This is an excellent opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced architects.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in developing architectural designs from concept to execution.
- Prepare architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and presentation drawings using SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, or similar software.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback and guidance from senior architects.
- Assist in coordinating with structural, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct site visits with senior architects to monitor project progress and ensure drawings are implemented correctly.
- Prepare project documentation, material schedules, and drawing revisions.
- Ensure drawings follow project requirements and applicable building standards.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Collaborate with the design team to deliver projects within deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in architectural design or project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp.
- Basic knowledge of Lumion, Revit, or other visualization software is preferred.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction detailing.
- Basic knowledge of building bylaws and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of 3D visualization and presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with MS Office and project documentation.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
