Job Summary
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily fleet operations, ensuring timely vehicle availability, monitoring driver performance, and supporting smooth transportation operations to achieve business targets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily fleet operations to ensure timely vehicle allocation and dispatch.
- Plan and assign vehicles based on shipment volume and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and transport partners for on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor vehicle movement using GPS and operational tracking systems.
- Ensure vehicles are utilized efficiently to optimize fleet productivity.
- Track trip progress and proactively resolve delays, breakdowns, and operational issues.
- Maintain regular communication with warehouse, hub, and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Verify transport documents, trip sheets, invoices, e-way bills, and Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Monitor fuel consumption, trip expenses, and vehicle utilization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and vehicle servicing to minimize downtime.
- Maintain fleet records, vehicle documentation, insurance, permits, and compliance documents.
- Prepare daily operational reports, vehicle utilization reports, and transport MIS.
- Escalate critical operational issues to the Operations Manager and support in resolving customer escalations.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and improve fleet efficiency.

Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma
- 1–3 years of experience in Fleet Operations, Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain.
- Experience in last-mile logistics or warehouse transportation is preferred.
