Rarefiction Media — When Fiction Meets Function.
Rarefiction Media is looking for a Digital Marketing & Website Intern who wants hands-on experience across WordPress, Website Design, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and Social Media Marketing.
WEBSITE DESIGN & WORDPRESS
- Build and manage websites using WordPress
- Create responsive website pages and landing pages
- Work with Elementor, themes and plugins
- Update website content, images and layouts
- Improve website speed, usability and mobile responsiveness
- Perform basic website maintenance
- Create landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
SEO
- Perform keyword research
- Work on on-page SEO
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings and URLs
- Improve website content for search visibility
- Conduct competitor SEO research
- Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Monitor organic traffic and keyword rankings
- Assist with technical and local SEO activities
ADSGOOGLE ADS
- Assist in creating and managing Google Ads campaigns
- Keyword and competitor research
- Create and optimize Search campaigns
- Assist with ad copy and landing page optimization
- Monitor CTR, CPC, conversions and campaign performance
- Assist with remarketing campaigns
- Prepare campaign performance reports
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data
META ADS
- Assist with Facebook & Instagram advertising
- Create and manage campaign structures
- Set up audiences and targeting
- Assist with Lead Generation, Traffic, Engagement and Awareness campaigns
- Monitor CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL and conversions
- Test different creatives, audiences and copy
- Assist with retargeting campaigns
- Identify high-performing creatives and audiences
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
- Assist with Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn management
- Research trends and content opportunities
- Support monthly content calendars
- Write captions and basic marketing copy
- Monitor engagement and audience activity
- Track social media performance
ANALYTICS & REPORTING
- Monitor website traffic and user behaviour
- Track SEO and advertising performance
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Analyze campaign data
- Identify what's working and what needs improvement
- Provide actionable marketing insights
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong interest in Digital Marketing
- Basic understanding of WordPress
- Interest in SEO and paid advertising
- Willingness to learn Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Good analytical and research skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
