*Job Description: Graphic Designer & DTP Operator*

Role Summary :
We are looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer, DTP & Machine Operator to lead the technical execution of our print and digital layouts, as well as operate printing equipment for production runs. You will be responsible for transforming creative concepts into technically perfect, production-ready files, and running the machines that bring them to print. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of printing machinery, color management, and high-speed formatting.
Key Responsibilities :
Design & Pre-Press
Technical Layout & Typesetting: Execute complex layouts for catalogs, brochures, packaging, and marketing materials with high precision.
Pre-Press Excellence: Prepare flawless print-ready files, managing bleeds, registration marks, trapping, and color separations (CMYK and Spot colors).
Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous technical audits on typography (kerning, tracking, widows/orphans), image resolution (DPI), and ink limits.
File Management: Organize and archive a high volume of project assets, ensuring version control and easy retrieval for re-prints.
Machine Operation
Machine-Specific Optimization: Apply advanced machine knowledge to adjust file specifications based on the requirements of digital, offset, or large-format printing presses.
Press Operation: Set up, calibrate, and run digital/offset/large-format printing machines for daily production jobs.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine machine cleaning, minor maintenance, and ink/toner replenishment; follow safety protocols during operation.
Output Monitoring: Check print quality during runs (color accuracy, alignment, smudging) and make real-time adjustments.
Troubleshooting: Resolve complex software, file, or machine errors that occur during the output process to minimize material waste and downtime.
Technical Skills & Requirements
Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Strong command of CorelDraw is essential.
Machine Handling: Hands-on experience operating digital/offset/large-format printing presses (mention specific machine models if applicable, e.g., HP Indigo, Xerox, Heidelberg).
Print Production Knowledge: In-depth understanding of paper stocks, GSM, lamination, UV coating, and binding processes.
Language Proficiency: Ability to handle professional typesetting in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for alignment, consistency, and grammatical errors.
