The Senior Quantity Surveyor will providing high-level support for projects in the UAE and KSA from the regional office in Palarivattom.
Duties of the Job
All types of projects including Buildings & Infrastructure. Duties include:
Pre-Contract Services (UAE & KSA Support)
- BOQ Preparation: Produce comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Estimation & Cost Planning: Prepare cost estimates based on the Company’s Cost Data, which shall be provided for UAE & KSA.
- Tender Analysis: Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts. Review and analyze tender submissions from GCC-based subcontractors and provide commercial recommendations.
Post-Contract Services (UAE & KSA Support)
- Provide necessary support for all post contract services including Evaluations of Variations and Payment Applications, preparation of Cost Reports, etc.
Reporting Line : Commercial Manager
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction processes.
- Sound knowledge of CostX is an added advantage.
- Proficient in cost estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Education Requirements (Including Certification requirements)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent stream
Experience in Years : 10+ Years with relevant GCC Project Experience.
