Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Social Studies to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Social Studies lessons, developing students' conceptual understanding, and contributing to their overall academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Social Studies lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics/Political Science and Social Science as applicable to the assigned grades.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, projects and other teaching-learning resources.
- Use interactive and innovative teaching methodologies to make classroom learning engaging.
- Assess students' academic progress through tests, assignments, projects and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of students' performance and provide timely feedback.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, discussion and active participation among students.
- Integrate technology and digital resources into classroom teaching wherever appropriate.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, workshops and other academic activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic coordinators for curriculum planning and implementation.
- Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, teaching methodologies and developments in Social Studies education.

Eligibility
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Social Science or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputed school.
- CBSE school experience will be preferred.
