Job Summary
The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with technicians, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles, and providing an exceptional customer experience while achieving service and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle concerns.
- Conduct vehicle walk-around inspections with customers.
- Record customer complaints accurately in the Job Card.
- Explain recommended repairs, maintenance requirements, timelines, and costs.
- Obtain customer approval before commencing repairs.
Service Coordination
- Coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians regarding vehicle diagnosis and repair progress.
- Monitor work status to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate repair updates to customers proactively.
- Ensure quality checks are completed before vehicle delivery.
Documentation
- Prepare Job Cards, repair estimates, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Maintain complete service records in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Ensure warranty claims and documentation comply with company guidelines.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Promote preventive maintenance packages and value-added services.
- Recommend genuine spare parts and accessories.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Support achievement of service revenue and customer retention targets.
Customer Satisfaction
- Deliver vehicles after explaining all work completed.
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Conduct post-service follow-ups.
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
Compliance
- Follow company SOPs and manufacturer guidelines.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Ensure accurate billing and documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Automotive Service (preferred).
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive customer service.
- Experience with passenger or commercial vehicles is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Understanding of vehicle diagnostics.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Location : Western Suburbs , Mumbai.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
