Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, and Chemicals projects.

Job Description of the Expeditor– 10-15 Years’ experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Order Management, Documentation and Reporting:
- Facilitating flow of information between various stakeholders.
- Perform clerical duties, prepare, and maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, tracking information, invoices, shipping, and related documentation.
- Follow established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Review reports/schedules for inconsistencies in order status, delivery performance, inventory levels etc.
- Collaborate with project management to prepare for project review meetings
- Proactively communicate updates and potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
Supply Chain Coordination:
- Collaborate with procurement/ logistics to ensure proper inventory levels and availability of materials.
- May need to visit shops/site on regular basis
- Liaison with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to quantities, quality, and specifications
- Optimize supply chain processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Vendor Management:
- Assess reliability of suppliers and vendors and find suitable solutions for ongoing problems.
- Develop working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders viz., vendors, suppliers, and freight forwarders to expedite order processing, shipment, and delivery.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
- Resolve any disputes or discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Engineering Degree/Diploma preferably in Mechanical Discipline.
- 7+ years of work experience in a similar role. Having Site/shop experience is an added advantage
- Proficiency in understanding of materials and services procurement process.
- Familiarity with industry standards, equipment, and materials.
- Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software and tools.
- Good computer skills and well versed in Microsoft Office
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
