Industry: Higher Education Consulting / Study AbroadJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, high-performing Head of Applications to oversee our global university admissions and student visa processing. While our firm handles worldwide destinations, the ideal candidate must possess deep, expert-level knowledge of the specific admission architectures, deadlines, and portals for Italy, Germany, and Austria. You will lead the entire application ecosystem, ensuring zero-error documentation, seamless navigation of B2B master portals, and high visa success rates for our students.Key Responsibilities
- Global End-to-End Processing: Manage the entire student application lifecycle for global destinations, with a heavy emphasis on public university systems in Italy, Germany, and Austria.
- B2B Portal Mastery: Command and manage international B2B recruitment aggregators (such as ApplyBoard, Adventus, KC Overseas, Shorelight, or equivalent master platforms) to maximize course choices and tracking.
- Country-Specific System Execution: Directly handle or supervise complex regional platforms including Uni-Assist (Germany), Universitaly / CIMEA (Italy), and legalization/embassy appointment systems for Austria.
- Academic Mapping & Evaluation: Evaluate student profiles, calculate GPA/ECTS equivalents, map university course modules, and vet tailored Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and CVs.
- Financial & Visa Compliance: Guide the operations team through blocked accounts, financial proof legalizations, insurance policies, and strict visa dossier assembly.
- Partner & Channel Liaison: Maintain active communication with university admission offices and B2B portal managers to expedite applications and resolve bottlenecks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an Application Team Lead or Senior Specialist in a global study-abroad agency or ed-tech firm.
- Specialized Knowledge: Exhaustive, hands-on knowledge of entry requirements, language prerequisites (IELTS/TOEFL/CEFR levels), and restricted vs. non-restricted course selections specifically for Italy, Germany, and Austria.
- B2B Network Expertise: Strong familiarity with navigating multiple B2B student recruitment dashboards and channel partner setups.
- Core Competencies: Flawless English communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, strict adherence to global intake deadlines, and strong problem-solving skills.
