Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor in Marketing to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, and academic service. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Marketing or those nearing completion of their doctoral studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate marketing courses
- Develop and update course curriculum in line with industry trends and academic standards
- Conduct impactful research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities
- Participate in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities
- Contribute to accreditation, program development, and academic administration
- Engage in industry collaboration, consultancy, and outreach activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- PhD in Marketing or a closely related field (preferred)
- Candidates pursuing a PhD may also be considered
- Master’s degree in Marketing (MBA or equivalent) with an excellent academic record
- Strong research orientation with publications or working papers
- Prior teaching experience at the university level is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills & Competencies
- Strong conceptual knowledge of core marketing areas (e.g., Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Analytics)
- Ability to integrate theory with practical applications
- Proficiency in research methodologies and statistical tools
- Commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
