We are looking for a seasoned **AI Governance Lead** with a strong foundation in **Cybersecurity** and hands-on expertise in **AI-driven security practices**. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and demonstrator who can engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders, translating complex technical and governance concepts into clear, actionable insights.
This role sits at the intersection of AI risk management, cybersecurity, and client engagement — requiring someone who can both build robust AI governance frameworks and confidently present them to internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain **AI Governance frameworks, policies, and controls** aligned with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act).
- Assess AI systems for **security, ethical, and compliance risks**, embedding governance throughout the AI lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring).
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to evaluate and mitigate **AI-specific security threats** (model attacks, data poisoning, prompt injection, adversarial ML, etc.).
- Lead **client-facing engagements**, including governance assessments, roadmap presentations, and advisory sessions.
- Conduct **demonstrations and workshops** for clients and internal stakeholders on AI governance maturity, risk posture, and security controls.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, product, and engineering teams to ensure AI initiatives meet governance and security requirements.
- Stay current on evolving **AI regulations, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices**, advising leadership accordingly.
- Prepare governance reports, risk assessments, and executive-level presentations.
- Mentor junior team members on AI governance and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Required Skills & Experience
- **10+ years** of overall experience, with substantial exposure to Cybersecurity, Risk, or Governance roles.
- Strong **fundamentals in Cybersecurity** (network security, application security, risk frameworks, compliance standards).
- Proven experience with **AI Governance** frameworks and practices (policy design, risk assessment, model oversight).
- Solid understanding of **AI-based Cybersecurity** — securing AI/ML systems and leveraging AI for threat detection, monitoring, and response.
- Excellent **client handling** skills — able to manage relationships, expectations, and executive-level conversations.
- Outstanding **communication skills**, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
- Strong **demonstration/presentation skills** — comfortable running live demos, workshops, and stakeholder briefings.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as **NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR, EU AI Act**, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 42001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or AI Governance-specific certifications.
- Experience working in consulting or client-advisory environments.
- Exposure to Responsible AI, AI Ethics, or MLSecOps practices.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
