Profile - Store Assistant
Experience - 1 to 2 Year
Key Responsibilities
- Floor Management: Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and register reconciliation. Ensure the store floor runs smoothly during peak hours.
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, mentor, and motivate sales associates. Assist in onboarding new hires and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate floor coverage.
- Customer Service Excellence: Resolve customer escalations, inquiries, and complaints professionally, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with the warehouse/vendors for replenishments, and oversee inventory audits to minimize stock shrinkage.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store layout, window displays, and product shelves are organized, clean, and aligned with company visual merchandising guidelines.
- Sales Performance: Drive the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Analyze sales trends to suggest promotional strategies on the floor.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.tech/ Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, with at least 1 year in a team lead, senior sales, or supervisory capacity.
