Job Description – Facility ManagerRole Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and operational efficiency of multiple facilities. The role involves managing preventive and corrective maintenance through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal working environments across all sites.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, infrastructure, and equipment across multiple locations.
- Manage and maintain the CMMS for scheduling, tracking, and reporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular facility condition assessments and recommend improvements for safety, functionality, and longevity.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruptions.
Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare maintenance budgets, cost estimates, and technical specifications for facility upkeep.
- Monitor maintenance expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient sourcing and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for hard and soft services.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all facility operations comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements related to buildings, fire safety, and environmental standards.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, costs, asset performance, and key performance indicators.
- Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Review contractor performance and verify completed work before payment processing.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prioritize maintenance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to administrative and operational teams.
- Maintain effective relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Facilities Management.
Experience & Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in facility management, preferably managing multiple sites.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS, including maintenance planning, reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of asset management, preventive maintenance, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance, safety standards, and facility operations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel between operational sites as required.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
