· Overall supervision of nursing activities throughout the organization and across all the centers under purview
· Officiates in the absence of Nursing Superintendent.
· Participates in the formulation and review of nursing services, philosophy, objectives, policies, rules and regulations, job description etc.
· Assists in the recruitment of the nursing staff.
· Assists to make the Master duty roster of the Nursing staff.
· Assists in allocating nursing personnel’s to various nursing services departments.
· Maintains the records and reports of the nursing personnel’s and nursing services up to date.
· Assists in putting up files related to promotions, confirmations
· Assists in setting of the new units in the hospitals.
· Takes regular hospital rounds / meeting patients to identify the satisfaction level regarding nursing care.
· Overall supervision of Nursing care delivery in order to ensure that a high standard is maintained at all times.
· Takes regular hospital rounds, supervises and inspects ICU, Floor and other departments.
· Assisting the Nursing superintendent in preparing the Budget for the nursing department.
· Guides the Supervisors / Charge Nurse / staff nurse in maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies of departments and wards.
· Participates in condemnation and replacements of the stock from time to time.
· Ensures that arrangements are made to assign nurses in emergencies wherever they occur.
· Participates in evaluation activities related to the Nursing personnel.
· Guides her subordinates to maintain a good IPR among the Nursing superintendent and other departments.
· Acts as a liaison officer between the Nursing and other Nursing personnel.
· Organizes staff meeting for Supervisors, Charge Nurses and staff nurses from time to time.
· Attending various hospital committees.
· Escorts special visitors, Medical Superintendent, Nursing Director & Superiors for hospital rounds.
· Arranges orientation programs & conduct various training programs for nursing staff along with Clinical Educator.
· Maintains discipline among nursing personnel.
· Collecting all the incident reports and analyzing them to find the Root Cause Analysis
· Correcting/ counselling and educating the staff in the event of errors/ mistakes/ complaints/ negligence reported.
· Accountable for the equipment’s used in the nursing and clinical care areas.
· Maintains confidential reports & reports of the Nursing Staff
· Assists in physical verification of stock of hospital and department as required.
· Assists in resolving the problems and complaints of the nursing staff.
· Attends the emergency calls of hospital and nurses hostel in the evening and night.
· Assists in planning and organizing the new units in the hospital if any.
· Maintains confidential report and records of the Nursing Staff.
· Ensure all KPI is taken care with 100 % & compliance.
· Act as role model for the nursing practices for all the nursing staff.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
