The Plumbing Supervisor (MEP) is responsible for supervising and coordinating all plumbing and drainage installation activities on construction projects. The role ensures that plumbing works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority regulations, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Supervise all plumbing and drainage installation works, including water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater, rainwater, irrigation, and pump room piping systems.
- Allocate daily work assignments and monitor workforce productivity.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Civil, and Architectural teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings before execution.
- Attend daily, weekly, and coordination meetings with the project team.
- Coordinate material delivery, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Report site progress, delays, technical issues, and resource requirements to the MEP Manager.
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications, local plumbing codes, and client requirements.
- Conduct inspections before consultant/client inspections.
- Monitor workmanship to minimize defects and rework.
- Ensure proper testing of plumbing systems, including hydrostatic pressure testing, drainage testing, flushing, and disinfection.
- Verify material quantities before installation.
- Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate material requests with the procurement and store departments.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Maintain manpower allocation records.
- Record inspections, testing reports, and completed work.
- Assist in preparing as-built information and handover documentation.

- Diploma or ITI/Trade Certificate in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience on commercial, residential, hospital, hotel, industrial, or high-rise building projects.
- Experience with GCC/International MEP projects is an advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
