Job Description – Maintenance Supervisor
Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Department: Maintenance
Location: VGP Heritage
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance activities of the property.
- Ensure the proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, water supply, and other utility systems.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints promptly.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Supervise technicians and allocate daily work efficiently.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major repairs and annual maintenance contracts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Monitor maintenance costs and minimize equipment downtime.
- Support event operations by ensuring all facilities are in working condition before and during events.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality establishments.
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, generators, and general building maintenance.
- Valid Electrical Supervisor Licence (preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining reports and records.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
