Job Summary:
Beige Café & Bakery is looking for a courteous and service-oriented Steward/Captain to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth floor operations, and creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, take accurate food and beverage orders, and communicate them clearly to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Ensure tables are clean, well-set, and organized at all times
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and patience
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the dining area
- Coordinate with kitchen and other staff to ensure seamless service
- Assist in billing and payment processing
- Supervise junior stewards (for Captain role) and ensure service standards are maintained
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a café, bakery, or restaurant (preferred)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Well-groomed and presentable appearance
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications (for Captain):
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a small team
- Strong understanding of service standards and guest handling

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
