About the Role
Asto Convention Centre is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Banquet Sales Manager to lead our banquet sales operations, drive revenue, and build strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve banquet revenue targets.
* Generate leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
* Handle wedding, corporate, social, and other event enquiries.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate accounts.
* Conduct property/site visits and present banquet packages to prospective clients.
* Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts, and follow up with clients.
* Coordinate with Operations, F&B, and other departments for smooth event execution.
* Monitor competitors, market trends, and opportunities for business growth.
* Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports.
* Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales and booking process.
### Requirements
5 - 7 years of relevant experience in banquet sales, hotel sales, hospitality, or event sales.
* Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong client relationship and business development skills.
* Good knowledge of weddings, corporate events, and banquet operations.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM/sales tools is an advantage.
* Candidates from Kasaragod and Kannur region are preferred.
