- Support senior carpenters in cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and related materials.
- Learn safe and effective use of carpentry tools, machines, and equipment.
- Assist in making modular furniture, wardrobes, and interior fittings.
- Prepare raw materials, measure dimensions, and mark cutting lines.
- Help in installation of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and interior carpentry works at client sites.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and assessments under NAPS guidelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic Carpentry Knowledge: Interest in woodworking and interior carpentry.
- Physical Dexterity: Ability to handle tools and perform manual tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in measurements and finishing work.
- Teamwork: Willingness to work under supervision and collaborate with senior carpenters.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding of workplace safety and tool handling precautions.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass (preferred).
- Interest in carpentry, furniture making, or interior works.
- No prior experience required — training will be provided under NAPS.
