You'll assist the camera and production team on live shoots — setting up gear, framing shots, and learning how a fast-paced content studio captures reels, shorts, and podcast episodes. A great starting point to learn hands-on cinematography in a real studio environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment before shoots
- Support the lead cinematographer during live recordings
- Help with framing, focus pulling, and basic camera operation under guidance
- Maintain and organize camera gear, lenses, and accessories
- Assist in shifting angles/setups for reels, shorts, and podcast segments
- Learn studio lighting setups and shoot-day workflows
- Stay updated on visual trends in short-form and podcast content
Who We're Looking For
- Basic understanding of camera operation (DSLR/mirrorless/cinema camera)
- Eager to learn, punctual, and reliable on shoot days
- Good eye for framing, light, and composition (even if self-taught)
- Comfortable working with feedback and fast-paced shoot schedules
- Physically able to assist with gear setup/handling
Nice to Have
- Personal shoots/reels you've filmed (college projects, freelance work, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of lighting setups or gimbal/stabilizer operation
- Interest in podcast/interview-style shoots and short-form visual storytelling
