- Report progress, financial results, and major risks to the Board of Directors.
- Drive service innovation, such as adopting advanced laser or diagnostic technology. [1, 2, 3]
Operations & Quality Care
- Oversee daily hospital workflows across outpatient departments (OPD), optical shops, and surgical theaters.
- Maintain high standards for clinical safety, hygiene, and patient satisfaction outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to healthcare laws, medical ethics, and regulatory standards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Financial Management
- Build, monitor, and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditures.
- Track profit-and-loss statements to guarantee long-term financial stability.
- Negotiate major vendor, insurance, and medical equipment contracts. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Human Resources & Team Building
- Hire, train, and retain top-tier ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses, and admin staff.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and manage staff welfare and retention.
- Coordinate training programs or research initiatives if affiliated with academic medical sites. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Community & Public Relations
- Act as the public spokesperson for the hospital in the media and local community.
- Build partnerships with regional health networks, NGOs, and referral doctors.
- Drive community eye screening camps and blindness prevention initiatives.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
