- Provide prompt medical assessment and treatment to all patients in OPD, IPD, Emergency, and ICU as assigned.
- Attend emergency cases immediately and initiate appropriate life-saving measures.
- Monitor admitted patients regularly and document clinical findings accurately.
- Perform detailed history taking, physical examinations, and formulate provisional diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and investigations as per hospital protocols and consultant instructions.
- Assist consultants during ward rounds, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Stabilize critically ill patients before referral or transfer to higher levels of care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records in patient files and EMR.
- Ensure informed consent is obtained before procedures whenever applicable.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments for effective patient care.
- Respond promptly to Code Blue, Code Red, and other hospital emergency calls.
- Interpret basic laboratory reports, ECGs, X-rays, and other investigations within the scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with NABH/NABL standards, hospital policies, and clinical protocols.
- Monitor infection control practices and adhere to biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Participate in casualty, ward, ICU, and night duties as per the duty roster.
- Communicate patient condition and treatment plans effectively to patients and their attendants.
- Report adverse events, medication errors, sentinel events, and clinical incidents as per hospital policy.
- Assist in medico-legal cases (MLC) documentation and ensure proper legal compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
- Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure rational use of medications, investigations, and hospital resources.
- Guide and support junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff whenever required.
- Verify discharge summaries, referral notes, death summaries, and transfer documentation.
- Ensure availability and functionality of emergency equipment and crash carts during duty.
- Perform any additional clinical or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Medical Superintendent or Hospital Management.
Pay: Up to ₹65,000.00 per month
