Code_V is looking for a 3D Game Animator to join our game development team!
We’re currently working on Gaia Genesis, a multiplayer hero-shooter featuring unique otherworldly animals, each with their own abilities, personalities, and visual identity.
Code_V is looking for a passionate Animator to join our team and help us build exciting multiplayer gaming experiences.
NOTE : THIS IS GOING TO BE A PROFIT SHARING ROLE. I.E. THE VOLUNTEER WILL BE GETTING THE COMPENSATION AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE GAME FOR UPTO 8 YEARS
What You’ll Do:
- Create high-quality character, creature, and gameplay animations for games.
- Animate combat, movement, abilities, emotes, interactions, and environmental elements.
- Work with the Game Designers and 3D Artists to bring gameplay concepts to life.
- Import, set up, and optimize animations inside Unity/Unreal Engine.
- Create smooth and responsive animation transitions.
- Work with animation rigs, IK, state machines, and blend trees.
- Polish animations based on gameplay testing and feedback.
- Maintain an organized animation pipeline and naming structure.
What We’re Looking For:
- Good understanding of 3D animation principles.
- Experience with tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar.
- Understanding of character rigging and animation workflows.
- Basic to good understanding of Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Strong sense of timing, weight, anticipation, and movement.
- Ability to create animations that feel responsive and fun during gameplay.
- A strong portfolio/demo reel showcasing your animation work.
