Identity Foundation Trust is implementing a prestigious educational project for UNICEF India in collaboration with the Department of School & Mass Education, Odisha (DHSE & OSEPA). The project focuses on delivering Career Awareness Programmes across Odisha, benefiting approximately 22 lakh students from Classes IX to XII.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Career Awareness, Life Skills, Communication Skills, and Soft Skills sessions for students in government schools.
- Coordinate with DEOs, ADEOs, Headmasters, Principals, and Nodal Teachers across assigned districts.
- Deliver both physical and virtual training sessions as per the project schedule.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate district-level career awareness programmes and events.
- Support the establishment and monitoring of Career Guidance Corners in schools.
- Coordinate Career Fairs and other project activities in collaboration with OSEPA and the SC/ST Development Department.
- Collect and maintain information on educational courses, colleges, career pathways, scholarships, and fee structures.
- Submit daily reports, attendance records, and other project documentation within timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with the Project Coordinator and ensure smooth project implementation.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (Postgraduate preferred).
- 2–10 years of experience in training, teaching, counselling, or student engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Odia; working knowledge of English is desirable.
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Mandatory Requirements
- Own Laptop.
- Own Two-Wheeler with a valid Driving License.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned districts in Odisha.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Candidates
Candidates with prior experience in Life Skills Training, Soft Skills Training, Career Guidance, School Education Projects, UNICEF, Samagra Shiksha, OSEPA, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, or similar Government or NGO projects will be given preference.
