brand. Our Umbergaon facility (Unit II) runs modern tube-making operations — melting, casting, extrusion, drawing,
annealing, finning and finishing — serving HVAC, medical gas pipeline, plumbing and industrial applications. We invest
in current manufacturing technology and in the people who run it, and we manage our operations on Microsoft
Dynamics 365 Business Central.
About the Role
This is a maintenance coordination and MIS role — the DGM's right hand for planning, tracking and reporting, rather
than a hands-on repair role. You will keep the maintenance function organised: driving PM schedule adherence,
tracking every breakdown to closure, following up on spares, and turning shop-floor activity into clear MIS the DGM
can act on. If you enjoy planning, data and follow-up in a technical environment, this role puts you at the centre of
plant maintenance and gives you visibility across all equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the DGM in day-to-day maintenance planning, scheduling and coordination.
- Track and follow up machine breakdowns to restoration — capture breakdown time, downtime and status.
- Drive Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule adherence; monitor pending, due and overdue PM jobs.
- Follow up on corrective/breakdown jobs and coordinate closure with maintenance teams.
- Flag recurring breakdowns and critical equipment and bring them to the DGM's attention with data.
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly maintenance MIS — downtime, PM compliance, breakdown trends, spare
consumption.
- Maintain equipment history cards, breakdown logs, PM records and checklists in Dynamics 365 Business
Central.
- Raise and track maintenance work orders, spare/consumable requirements and indents in Business Central;
follow up with Stores/Purchase.
- Assist in planning plant shutdowns and major maintenance and track activity completion.
- Track maintenance improvement / equipment-modification projects and report progress.
- Prepare statements, presentations and performance reports for DGM/management review.

Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
2–5 years in maintenance coordination, planning, MIS or a maintenance-support role in a manufacturing plant.
Technical Skills
- Understanding of preventive, breakdown & corrective maintenance
- Maintenance planning & scheduling concepts
- Downtime / MTBF / MTTR / availability metrics (working understanding)
- Strong MS Excel (data handling, pivots) + Word/PowerPoint
- MIS reporting & documentation
- Coordination and structured follow-up
ERP / Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Requirement level: Working knowledge — Mandatory
Hands-on use of the maintenance/work-order, spares and inventory functions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business
Central is required. Candidates with equivalent ERP experience (e.g. SAP PM, Oracle, other CMMS/ERP maintenance
modules) who can quickly adapt to Business Central will be considered — Business Central exposure is preferred.
Behavioural / Soft Skills
Organised, methodical, persistent on follow-up, comfortable with data and reporting, good technical communication.
