Position: Academic Head
New Horizon Group of Schools is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary Academic Head to lead and strengthen our academic excellence across the institution. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, extensive teaching experience, and a passion for curriculum development, faculty mentoring, and academic innovation.
Educational Qualification
- Master's Degree in Education or a relevant subject from a recognized university (M.Ed. preferred).
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Additional qualifications such as M.Phil., Ph.D., PG Diploma in Educational Leadership/Administration, or certifications in curriculum development will be an added advantage.
Experience
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Develop and implement academic policies, curriculum, and instructional strategies.
- Establish and maintain high academic standards across all grades.
- Drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices.
Training Module Development
- Lead the design and development of high-quality training modules for School Leaders and Teachers.
- Ensure all training content aligns with educational standards, institutional goals, and best teaching practices.
Approval & Implementation
- Review, evaluate, and approve training modules before implementation.
- Ensure training programs are relevant, engaging, and aligned with modern pedagogical practices.
Faculty Management
- Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and support the professional development of teachers and academic staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of academic programs and training initiatives.
- Analyze feedback and learning outcomes to continuously improve academic quality.
Student Success
- Ensure academic programs support student achievement, retention, and overall development.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Accreditation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain academic documentation and quality assurance standards.
Research & Innovation
- Encourage educational research, technology integration, and innovative teaching practices.
- Introduce new initiatives that enhance academic excellence.
Strategic Planning & Budget Management
- Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve institutional goals.
- Manage academic resources and budgets effectively.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in the education sector, with significant experience in academic leadership.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, teacher training, and academic administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Salary: As per experience.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
