Job Title: Waiter / Steward

Job Summary
The Waiter/Steward is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to the restaurant's service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
- Present menus, explain menu items, and recommend food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
- Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery from tables efficiently.
- Prepare tables before service and reset them after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate issues to the Restaurant Captain or Manager when necessary.
- Promote special menu items and upsell food and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
- Assist in opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass); Hotel Management qualification preferred.
- 0–3 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel (Freshers with good communication skills are welcome).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Team player with a willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
