Operational Head – Iron & Steel Distribution
Location - Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Salary - ₹60,000 per month
(Negotiable based on relevant experience and expertise)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operational Head to manage and streamline the complete warehouse and operational activities of our growing Iron & Steel Distribution business.
The candidate will be responsible for warehouse management, inventory and stock control, material storage, inward/outward movement, dispatch coordination, team management and operational discipline.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of the Iron & Steel industry, particularly HR, CR, TMT and Structural Steel products, and should be capable of independently managing day-to-day warehouse operations.
Cutting & Slitting Machine Operations
The candidate must have practical knowledge of steel cutting and slitting operations and should be capable of supervising or independently handling these activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the steel warehouse.
- Ensure systematic material receiving, unloading, stacking, storage and dispatch.
- Maintain proper identification and segregation of different steel products.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in steel/iron distribution, warehouse, stock management or related operations preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of HR, CR, TMT and Structural Steel products.
- Experience managing a steel warehouse or distribution yard will be highly preferred.
- Strong inventory and stock-control skills.
- Good understanding of weight, quantity, dimensions and product specifications.
- Experience in handling loading/unloading and dispatch operations.
- Ability to manage a team of warehouse and operational employees.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel/ERP/inventory systems preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment.
