Role Overview
Apollo Homecare is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager Operations to oversee and streamline the day-to-day operational functions of its homecare services in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring service excellence, optimizing workflows, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning operational strategies with organizational goals. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong background in healthcare or homecare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational activities to ensure efficient and high-quality homecare service delivery
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations staff, caregivers, and support personnel
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with clinical, HR, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service operations
- Manage resource allocation including staffing, scheduling, and equipment to meet patient and client needs
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner
- Prepare regular operational reports and present insights to senior management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all operational processes
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience of six to seven years in operations management, preferably within the healthcare or homecare sector
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
- Excellent understanding of healthcare service delivery models and patient care standards
- Proficiency in operational planning, resource management, and process optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination across departments
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance, regulatory frameworks, and quality standards
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and operations management tools or software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
