Brijstar Green Energy Pvt Ltd is a solar EPC company and an Authorised Channel Partner of Tata Power Solar, based in Siliguri. We install rooftop solar for government offices, institutions, factories and commercial buildings across West Bengal.
We are hiring a Business Development Executive to build and manage our government and institutional business across North Bengal.
What you will do
- Meet and build relationships with government departments and bodies.
- Identify upcoming solar requirements, budgets and tender opportunities early
- Track tender portals and departmental notices, and coordinate our submissions
- Handle department paperwork — enlistment, empanelment, work orders, completion certificates, bill submission and payment follow-up
- Build institutional business with private schools, colleges, hospitals, hotels, tea estates and factories
- Maintain a mapped list of every department and officer across the North Bengal districts
- Report weekly on meetings held, opportunities identified and paperwork status
What we need
- 4 to 8 years in field sales or business development, covering districts and not just one town
- Direct working experience with government departments or bodies — BDO, Panchayat, PHE, PWD, municipality, or similar. This is the main requirement.
- Understands how government purchase works — tenders, work orders, enlistment, bill and payment cycles
- Experience with an established or reputed company, where you learned proper reporting and documentation
- Own two-wheeler or four-wheeler, valid driving licence, smartphone
- Willing to travel across North Bengal 3 to 4 days a week including overnight stays
- Fluent Bengali, Hindi and working English. You will write emails and letters to departments.
- Comfortable with Excel, email and government portals
Preferred
- Background in solar, electrical, pumps and pipes, water supply, LED and street lighting, construction materials, infrastructure or agricultural equipment sold to government
- Existing relationships with departments in Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar or the Dinajpurs

- Full product and technical training. Solar experience is not required.
