We are looking for an experienced HVAC Fabrication Detailer to join our MEP Team at Axium Global, Andheri, Mumbai. In this role, you will work on projects for leading Australian MEP design consulting firms, creating coordinated and fabrication-ready HVAC ductwork models and drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate 3D HVAC ductwork fabrication models based on project requirements and fabrication standards.
- Prepare duct layouts, fittings, transitions, connections and other fabrication components.
- Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings for manufacturing.
- Prepare spool, assembly, installation and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Develop coordinated LOD 300–400 BIM models.
- Prepare hangers, supports, penetration and builder's work drawings as required.
- Create coordinated ceiling service layouts.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Use Revizto for model coordination, issue tracking, mark-ups and communication.
- Review and resolve clashes before fabrication and installation.
- Update models and drawings based on RFIs, design changes, site conditions and construction requirements.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural and other MEP teams.
- Ensure all models and drawings comply with Australian Standards, project specifications, client requirements and BIM standards.
- Maintain high levels of model accuracy, drawing quality and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- BE/BTech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- ITI/NCTVT certified HVAC Draftsman with relevant experience will also be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/MEP drafting, BIM modelling or fabrication detailing.
- Strong understanding of HVAC ductwork, fabrication practices and installation requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Navisworks and Revizto.
- Good understanding of MEP drawings, plans, sections, schematics and building services coordination.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and Australian project experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
