Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to design safe, economical, and efficient structural systems for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of structural analysis, design standards, and engineering software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel structures.
- Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and detailed drawings.
- Perform structural analysis using engineering software.
- Develop foundation, column, beam, slab, and roof structural designs.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IS Codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and site engineers.
- Review shop drawings and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Conduct value engineering to optimize material usage and project costs.
- Resolve structural design issues during execution.
- Participate in design reviews and client meetings when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of all design calculations and revisions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structural design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of IS Codes and relevant building regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or industrial structures.
- Knowledge of seismic and wind load analysis.
- Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit Structure is an added advantage.
