We are seeking a Transport Engineer to contribute to medium- to large-scale urbanism projects. This is an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team and develop targeted design strategies focused on delivering safe, efficient, and well-integrated traffic and transport solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams on the design of street layouts, junctions, and public spaces.
- Prepare mobility strategies for Development Plans, Local Area Plans, Town Planning Schemes, and major urban design interventions.
- Interpret different components of comprehensive traffic and transportation surveys.
- Translate technical findings into practical design recommendations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all design proposals comply with applicable design standards.
- Apply knowledge of sustainable mobility concepts, EV infrastructure, and smart transport systems to inform design proposals.
- Establish project timelines and consistently meet deadlines.
Education
Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a specialisation in Transportation (required)
Experience
2 to 3 years in Transportation Engineering, Urban Mobility, or Infrastructure Planning
Skills – Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and MS Office
- Ability to interpret traffic data, drawings, and transport studies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to take initiative and manage assignments through the full project lifecycle
- Effective time and priority management
Skills – Preferred
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Exposure to traffic modelling and analysis tools
- Familiarity with Indian Roads Congress (IRC) standards and urban street design guidelines
- Knowledge of sustainable transport, complete streets, and transit-oriented development principles
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
