Job Posting: Logistics & Billing Executive
Location: Dahej, Gujarat (In Person)
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Billing Executive to oversee transportation, waste movement operations, and dispatch documentation at our Dahej facility. In this dual-focused role, you will manage the entire dispatch lifecycle, coordinate with transporters, and take full ownership of billing, invoicing, and compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics & Operations Management
- Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate daily vehicle movements (collection and dispatch) for waste and materials arriving at or leaving the Dahej plant.
- Transporter Liaison: Coordinate with vendors and transport contractors to ensure vehicle availability, timely placements, and prompt pick-ups/drops.
- Route & TAT Optimization: Plan efficient transit routes to minimize turnaround time (TAT) and reduce overall freight and fuel costs.
- Reporting: Maintain rigorous daily logs of vehicle utilization, trip efficiency, and weighbridge records.
2. Billing, Invoicing & Documentation
- Transit Documentation: Prepare and accurately verify essential transit paperwork, including Lorry Receipts (LR), Delivery Challans, and mandated GPS/Manifest tracking logs.
- Billing & Commercials: Generate and process commercial Invoices accurately corresponding to dispatched weights and client contracts.
- Compliance Tracking: Ensure all transport billing aligns with environmental safety guidelines. Verify that vehicles carry valid hazardous/non-hazardous waste transport permits before invoicing.
- Internal Alignment: Work closely with the warehouse, finance, and plant operations teams to reconcile dispatch schedules, plant capacity, and billing records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in any stream (B. Com / BBA/ B.Sc.).
- A B. Com degree or a diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance/Accounting is a major advantage.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience managing logistics, commercial dispatch, or industrial billing operations—preferably within the Chemical or Waste Management sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (Data entry, billing formulas, and basic spreadsheet tracking).
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities, high attention to detail for figures/invoicing, and fluent communication in Hindi and Gujarati.

- Candidates residing in or willing to commute/relocate to Dahej or nearby areas within the Bharuch district.
