Job Summary
Operational Supervision
- Manage and supervise the operations of an assigned cluster of dialysis centres.
- Ensure uninterrupted delivery of dialysis services in accordance with contractual obligations and clinical protocols.
- Conduct regular field visits to each unit as per the approved audit schedule.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Operational & Process Audit
- Conduct comprehensive audits of all assigned dialysis units covering:
o Clinical documentation
o Patient records
o Inventory management
o Biomedical equipment utilization
o Drug and consumable usage
o Infection control practices
o Biomedical waste management
o Cashless billing and documentation
o Statutory compliance
o Government reporting requirements
- Prepare detailed audit reports with observations, risk categorization, and action plans.
- Track closure of audit observations within defined timelines.
Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with:
- Company SOPs
- NABH guidelines (where applicable)
- Government PPP contract requirements
- Quality and safety protocols
- Clinical governance standards
- Monitor adherence to attendance, shift rosters, and manpower deployment.
Team Management
- Supervise Centre Managers, Dialysis Technicians, Nursing Staff, and Support Staff.
- Monitor staff discipline, performance, productivity, and training needs.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews.
- Mentor unit teams to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Government & Hospital Coordination
- Coordinate with Medical Superintendents, CMS, Nodal Officers, and Hospital Administrators.
- Resolve operational issues in collaboration with hospital management.
- Ensure timely submission of reports required by government authorities.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor patient experience and service quality.
- Ensure implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct surprise inspections to verify adherence to established standards.
Inventory & Asset Monitoring
- Verify stock levels and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor utilization of dialysis consumables.
- Prevent stock shortages and inventory pilferage.
- Verify biomedical equipment maintenance records.
MIS & Reporting
- Submit weekly and monthly audit reports.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
- Dialysis utilization
- Machine uptime
- Infection rates
- Patient satisfaction
- Revenue realization
- Manpower utilization
- Audit compliance score
- Present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
Risk Management
- Investigate operational irregularities, deviations, and complaints.
- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents.
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Master of Business Administration
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or any other discipline
- Certification in Quality, Hospital Administration, or Internal Auditing will be an added advantage.
- Experience
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or regional/zonal management role.
- Experience managing multiple facilities is highly preferred.
- Experience working in PPP healthcare projects or government healthcare programmes will be an advantage.
