Overview
We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Video Editor who doesn't just cut footage but leverages the latest in Generative AI to push the boundaries of storytelling. The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional experience in traditional post-production and a proven track record of using AI tools to enhance, generate, or automate video content.
Key Responsibilities
- Post-Production: Edit high-quality video content (YouTube, Reels, Ads, or Corporate) using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- AI Generation: Use tools like Runway (Gen-3/Gen-4), Luma Dream Machine, or OpenAI Sora to generate B-roll, cinematic shots, and creative visual effects.
- Workflow Automation: Implement AI-driven tools (e.g., Descript, CapCut AI, or Adobe Firefly) for automated captioning, object removal, and smart reframing.
- Audio Enhancement: Utilize AI voice synthesis (ElevenLabs) and noise reduction tools to ensure professional-grade sound design.
- Experimentation: Stay ahead of the curve by testing new AI models and incorporating them into our production pipeline to reduce turnaround times and increase quality.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience.
- Software Mastery: Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience with at least two major AI video platforms (e.g., Runway, Pika, Kling, or Luma).
- Visual Storytelling: A strong sense of pacing, color grading, and narrative structure.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot AI "hallucinations" and integrate generated clips seamlessly with real-world footage.
- Portfolio: A showreel that highlights both traditional editing skills and AI-generated/enhanced segments.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Midjourney or Stable Diffusion for generating high-end custom assets.
- Knowledge of AI lip-syncing and character consistency techniques.
- Background in motion graphics or 3D compositing.
