Job Overview
Baseline is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer with strong experience in industrial and commercial projects. The role involves leading electrical design activities, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical design drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop single line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, and layouts
- Design power distribution and lighting systems
- Prepare lighting and wiring layouts
- Prepare earthing and lightning protection layouts
- Perform lighting calculations using Dialux
- Work on cable routing, tray layouts, and panel layouts
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering teams
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Support BOQ preparation and material take-offs
- Guide junior designers and review their work
- Coordinate with site teams for design clarifications
- Assist in design optimization and technical discussions
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical design
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Good understanding of electrical systems and design practices
- Experience in SLDs, cable schedules, and panel design
- Experience in industrial/commercial projects preferred
- Ability to review and guide design work
- Good coordination and communication skills
