Build responsive, intuitive, and performance-focused mobile application interfaces.
Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and reliable mobile solutions.
Develop and maintain application components using Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Fragments, and XML layouts.
Implement suitable application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and MVP.
Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, third-party APIs, and external data sources.
Implement and maintain push notifications and cloud messaging services.
Develop and maintain Bluetooth-based device communication using the Android SDK.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to functionality, performance, compatibility, and application stability.
Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, responsiveness, and reliability.
Conduct code reviews and follow clean coding standards and Android development best practices.
Research and evaluate new Android tools, frameworks, libraries, and technologies.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
2–5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK.
Solid understanding of Android UI design principles and development best practices.
Hands-on experience with MVVM, MVC, and MVP architecture patterns.
Strong knowledge of Android Fragments and XML layouts.
Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
Hands-on experience with Bluetooth communication using the Android SDK.
Experience implementing push notifications and cloud messaging APIs.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Good understanding of the Android application lifecycle, including Activities, Services, Intents, and background processing.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-structured code.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Android Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, and WorkManager.
Familiarity with third-party libraries, SDKs, and API integrations.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Knowledge of Android application security and performance best practices.
Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store is an added advantage.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices for mobile application development is a plus.
Exposure to mobile application testing and debugging tools is an added advantage.
