Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist Programmer / AutoCAD Draughtsman/Woman to create technical drawings, develop CNC programs, and support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in AutoCAD drafting, CNC programming, machine setup, and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
AutoCAD Drafting
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Modify and update engineering drawings as required.
- Create manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Maintain drawing records and revisions.
- Ensure accuracy of dimensions and specifications.
CNC Programming
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Perform machine setup and program verification.
- Troubleshoot CNC machine and programming issues.
Production Support
- Coordinate with production and quality teams.
- Monitor machining processes for quality and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in CNC Programming or AutoCAD is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of machining processes and tooling.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in CNC Programming, CNC Machining, or AutoCAD Drafting.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.
Working Conditions
- Full-Time Position
- Manufacturing / Workshop Environment
- Monday to Saturday (as per company policy)
Salary ₹20000 - ₹40000 per month
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
