Job Summary
The Staff Bus Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for the team members. This role supports the resort’s daily operations by ensuring employees are transported efficiently and on schedule, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, vehicle care, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the staff bus safely and efficiently along approved routes.
- Transport employees to and from work in accordance with established schedules.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and ensure the bus is in good working condition before use.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
- Report maintenance issues, accidents, traffic violations, or delays immediately.
- Ensure compliance with all road traffic regulations and company transportation policies.
- Maintain trip logs, inspection reports, and other required records accurately.
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for all passengers.
- Provide support for transportation needs during special functions, staff activities, or emergencies.
- Exercise professionalism, courtesy, and discretion at all times.
- Undertake any other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with the required endorsement to operate a bus.
- At least 3 years’ experience in bus driving or a similar transportation role.
- Good knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
- Clean driving record.
- Defensive driving training would be an asset.
